I haven't been so efficient in uploading photos for a very long time! HAHA.

Here are some photos from yesterday along with a few other random photos taken recently. :)

Mama has started the "Angie The Choice " tradition since young and they faithfully continued it. Haha :) But they bought my mom's favourite flavour?? Yam? LOL. Nah, I love yam too ;)

When the candles were still litted, the two very creative friends of mine, jas and zhen, actually placed the bouquet of flowers beside the photo frame and they constructed a perfect scene of offerings at a tombstone.... -___- They should have just removed the top & bottom photo and just leave the black and white one there. Better still if they enlarged it to fill the frame.

LOL.

What's that face for ahkua?

Xinyi darling (:

My dear Gaos. :)

Vally baybee (:

I would never forget this night. :)

First time experiencing wife's driving skills.

Could tell how SAFE we felt from the 'genuine' smile on Jas' face.

HAHAH. just joking laaaaa.

I trust my wife :)

Into the first hour of my 19th with my very dearest. :)

Another heart attack I received when I got home. ( Refer to previous entry :) )

Paddle lu from ah luu and flowers from wife and kua (:

Alrighty! Gonna slot in a few random photos before I go! (:

This was where paddle lu came from. Had to catch two of the normal blue stiches before we could exchange for it.

GREAT JOB DEAR! Now we discovered another new technique, lol (:

Necklace I customized for him. =)

Went with Kelsey and her two friends to watch the Suntec dance comp last sat~

Was soo happy to be able to watch darling perform after so long (:

My eyes were totally glued onto her captivating facial and body expressions!

Really hope we could get into the same item for Recital. That is if I could even pass the auditions first. Haven't danced for a long time and I don't dare to imagine how rusty I've turned. :X

Dinner at some Thai restaurant at Ion~ I have still not quit the habit of taking pictures before I let people touch their food. Lol.

The 'sorry' macaroni me and jas discovered at the comp lab. Artistic picture taken by Kua.

When Portfolio takes away our sanity.

Come down Jas!

Last but not least, yaya baby (:

Have LOTS of catching up to do with so many people.

Got to get back in shape FIRST. HAHAHAHA.

Okay gtg he's here with pink prezzie but no pink bowtie. teehee.

BYEEEE!! <3

I guess this could be said to be the first time whereby I feel like just letting my birthday pass me by.

Have been really moodless these days and nothing seemed to be able to pick my spirits up. It really sucks. Especially when there is no particular reason and no particular solution.

The day started off not exactly very fantastic, and luu brought a moody cow to ktv.

It does wonders I have to admit, and I was feeling much better by dinner time.

After dinner I suggested we go to Esplanade to take a walk and we went up to the rooftop.

I was telling luu :

" You know the other day, I was having yoghurt at Parkway, and a group of students was planning a surprise for their friend that was working at the yoghurt shop, and they walked past me singing Happy Birthday with a birthday cake..... "

I was about to go on when I heard...

" HAAAAA-PPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUU............. "

And before I could actually absorb what was going on, there was jasmine kua holding onto a cake with glowing candles, along with the very familiar faces that I have been missing :

Zhen, Xinyi, Gaoyan and Vally.

I was so touched to the extent that I felt molested. I couldn't not cry. And it was just too much of a coincidence to what I was just saying.

And then I bombarded them with ten thousand questions on how they all actually got together. How did they know we were at the rooftop. Who contacted them, how and when??

And ultimately I really have to thank luu, zhen and jasmine for planning this surprise for me.

Neither did I expect xinyi, gaoyan and vally to be so spontaneous to actually come down on such a last min, impromptu basis.

I had seen surprise appearances of friends with birthday cakes to many people around me before, but never have I imagined it to happen to myself one day.

As my friends are all scattered all over the place unlike some others who have one concrete clique, it's really hard to gather good friends during occasions as everyone come from different places.

I feel so blessed to be able to see the people that I love so dearly on the night before my birthday, all gathered at the roof of esplanade just for me. Though there are a handful of others that I would very much love to see as well, but I have received all your warm wishes and they are kept close to my heart.

Thanks for making me cry like I didn't receive my favourite flavour of cake. HAHA. I love y'all (;

And thank you wife for the ride home, I still feel your body is photoshopped to the driver's seat. LOL.

And so me and luu spent some quality time downstairs my house talking about the night and stuff.. Dad dropped me a few calls and I went up after awhile.

When I reached home, I opened the door to receive an explosion.

After 3 seconds of shock, I realised what was going on when I heard another round of " Happy Birthday to you.... "

And then I turned on the lights and there was my spastik family blowing party poppers and my maid was actually holding a plate of lit-up candles WITHOUT a cake. She sang a birthday song for me with that kiddy adorable voice and cheeky smile of hers.. Soooo cute! I got it down on my camera. :) She actually stayed up till 1am+ just to wait for me to come home so that she could execute her 'surprise'. How could I not smile having such angels around me...

After I blew out the candles, she asked me with a big smile : " Are you happy now ? "

And then I remembered I told her I wasn't happy before I left the house this afternoon.

How sweet can she get. Really...

The eve of my 19th birthday is so, so, unexpected.

Something which I didn't want to give a damn about, turned out to be so unexpectedly heartwarming.

And this can be said to be the first time I have been successfully surprised.

Very fufilling day emotion-wise & stomach-wise.

See a few extra pounds on its way! Haha. That can be solved later :)

Thank you so much everyone. For remembering my birthday, for your wishings be it via sms or facebook, for your gifts, for caring for me, and for loving me.

And my dearest ah luu, please fret not over my birthday gift, just put a pink ribbon over your neck and you're done.

See you tomorrow <3

PS: Pictures to be uploaded.... hopefully before my 20th birthday? hurhur. -.-

I can't believe I have FINALLY completed my portfolio.

Better check if I can still remove my arse from the chair.

I swear the mini-project took up so much of my time. Spent two days contemplating and squeezing out my brain juices on my initial topic. So glad I finally switched to another much more feasible one. Special thanks to Jas and nikki for your initial constructive help!

Feels so great to complete something ahead of time :) Let's just get this over and done with man!

Now this is where my holiday begins.

Go away moody cow and get on that equipment.

K byeeeeeeeee.
